ABOUT ME AND THE BOOKS

Despite a reprimand by an English Teacher at school for having 'a little too much imagination' I continued to enjoy writing stories. I wrote my first novel length book in the mid-nineties and continued to write half a dozen more that gathered dust until I published one of them in 2009.

I let the ideas start and as I write hopefully the characters grow. I hope people like my work of course but never try to target a particular audience or chase a trend.

Creative work of any kind should in my opinion be judged on it's merits by each individual who engages with it, not by mass promotion or hype.

MOVIE ADAPTATIONS

People often ask where they can see the full feature films of the trailers.

At present the promo films are just tasters of how the novels could look on the screen. One of them has a screenplay written in first draft.

I am interested in speaking with accomplished film makers about adaptations and screenwriters who want to develop the scripts. (Please use contact page).

MEDIA INTERVIEW REQUESTS

I am happy to discuss my creative work.

The rest (as they say) is history!

SOME QUOTES I LIKE

"We’ve just amused ourselves and hoped enough people would want to eavesdrop to make it all viable." - Bob Mortimer (Vic and Bob).

“I never wrote for them then, I don’t write for them now. I have no interest in what they have to say about anything. I’m interested in whether I like it. I write for me.” - Lou Reed (when asked about critics)

"Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn't matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we've done something wonderful, that's what matters to me." - Steve Jobs

"Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don't just give up." - Stephen Hawking
